Kurt Vonnegut is well known for his short story called "Harrison Bergeron". The main conflict of the story is that there is a desire from society to be all equal. It is not allowed to be more intelligent, stronger or more attractive. However, it doesn't work because no one is really happy and it is no more than a governmental control.
