Their is a word meaning belonging to two or more people. Like, "That soccer ball is theirs."
There is a word that means a place. Like, "She kicked that soccer ball over there."

There is used to indicate where. Example : I live over there.
Their is used to indicate a group of people who do or do not own something for example: They live there, but it is not their house.
