One of the most popular forms of nonsense poetry is the limerick. Here is your goal for this assignment: Appreciate and write limericks In a book of poetry, find two limericks that you like. Copy the poems in the report file; include the author's name. Remember to document your book of poetry properly, using MLA format. Click here to view the MLA Style Guide. Then, write a limerick of your own. Remember to follow the format of limericks. There are five lines. The first two lines rhyme with the last line. The third and fourth lines rhyme with each other and are shorter than the other three.
