Nixon maintained eye contact centered on the audience. This type of non-verbal message allows the public to see confidence and ownership in Nixon's words, showing that he knows the subject he is talking about and is not afraid to talk about it.

In addition, Nixon shows movements with his hand, which show certain statements in his speech.

The verbal messages correspond with the non-verbal ones creating a universal libguagem and allowing all people to understand what is being discussed, regardless of their age, status and academic degree.

    Explanation:

Non-verbal language is one where a message is transmitted without the use of words, but through gestures, posture, movements, looks and facial expressions. This type of language is used to draw attention, highlight feelings expressed in verbal language and create a universal language that anyone is able to understand and respond to.
