These are all programs that the South African government has implemented in order to reduce some risky behaviours and dangerous situations that take place in the country.

The program Arrive Alive is directed towards raising awareness of road safety. This program created an informational website that allows people to understand the importance of safe driving. The Road Accident Fund, on the other hand, is a state insurer that was established in order to cover all motor vehicles in terms of liability in motor collisions. The HIV/AIDS awareness campaign strives to inform people of the realities of these conditions and how to keep themselves safe. Finally, the 16 Days of Activism against women and child abuse attempts to raise awareness of these problems in order to bring them to an end.

All of these programs are ways in which the South African government addresses the problems of the country and attempts to bring effective solutions to them.
