Cooper was not in favor of educating the blacks but Douglas thought that education led to the enlightenment of mind of people and wanted to educate the black to give them equality and freedom.

    Explanation:

Cooper was one as one the greatest teachers of her time who had given a lot of focus on personal advancement. She thought that vocational education and training led to the success of the students so the black students should not be given any kind of vocational education.

On the other hand, education was considered very important by Douglas also leading to the enlightenment of the mind of the person. But he was in the favor of educating the black and finding ways to give them equality and freedom.
