Option D is the most accurate.

There is no writing that doesn't have a plot so that rules out option A. Rhythm and tone are used in poetry and not in fiction/nonfiction writings. Conflict is bound to rise in any given writing whatsoever from great novels to tiny children story books.

BUT Nonfiction writing focuses only on providing information to the readers about events that happened in reality.
