In "Homesick" Jean views Andrea as D. Jean thinks Andrea is more mature and more worldly than she is, because Andrea is a year older and has visited more places. Andrea's family is very "free and natural" and they enjoy walking around their home naked. Andrea is also of an age to notice boys and to be attracted to them, while Jean is still too young.
