Which is the best summary of the central idea of this part of Antony's speech? He says the Roman people once had good reasons to love Caesar.     After the assassination of Caesar, Brutus in his speech said to the plebeians that the conspirators killed Caesar not because they did not love him but because he was ambitious and if he would have become the king of Rome, he would make everyone his slave. So, Brutus explains to the Roman people that they killed Caesar because they loved the more and desired their freedom.

    After the speech of Brutus, Antony gives a rhetorical speech, in which he questions the Roman people why they have stopped loving and have turned against Caesar. He narrates to the citizens the good that Caesar had done for them, even the refusal of crown three times. Indirectly, Antony conveys to the citizen that Caesar was not ambitious for if he would have been then he would not have refused the crown three times when offered.
