    The line of Ingrid Jonker "your child dies and lives on" has a possible double meaning since it does not make sense when you say a person dies and then lives on. This statement should not be interpreted literally, this means that even if the child dies, it doesn't mean that he will not be with you forever. He will remain with you even if he is already dead, his memories, his love and your love for him will still be there. You might not realize it but after his death, this amazing thing will happen where it will seem that he did not die at all.
