The patient's acceptance of the offer of a corrective procedure represents an aspect of agreement between the parties. That is, before the agreement, instances such as:

    Presentation and Start of Mediation

    Presentation of the parties

    Opening of the mediation session

    Rules of Procedure

    Confidentiality Agreement (if applicable)

    Individualized exposure of the conflict

    Interest and needs detection

    Selection of options and proposals

    Agreement

Alright so I had to research this briefly.

I believe the correct form is mediation-arbitration (med-arb). In med-arb, the parties first reach an agreement, then proceed to write it out formally for documentation
