J. K. Rowling's goal was to become a writer and for other's to enjoy her work. She came up from poverty, a young woman sleeping in her car. She was determined to become a writer. She never wanted the fame and fortune and states she is very grateful for all the complications she's had to overcome to get to where she is now.
