If you are interested in a specific employer, but there are no job openings in the company, the best step you should take while you wait for the company's hiring status to change is to gain experience in the field in order to be their best option when the time comes.

    Explanation:

To prepare yourself for the job, even before having the actual opportunity to do it, will give you experience and you will be ready whenever the time comes. You could study or even get a job in a similar position in order to become a more experienced professional. When the company changes their hiring status you will definitely be ready and you will be one of the best options with no doubt.

Find experience that adds credibility to your name. an example would be an aspiring teacher applying at a daycare and a YMCA youth program to gain the preferred experience.
