Discuss the change in jacks personality that is described at the beginning of the chapter. What is jacks highest priority and what does this tell us about him?

    Assuming that the book is 'Lord of the flies', Jack begins to take on the characteristics of a dictator. He quickly becomes less tolerant of Ralph's position as chief. His priority is to feed his primal need to hunt and kill animals. Jack has a disposition towards violence. He gravitates towards intimidating others and forcing his will over other living things.
