    The Pilgrim's Progress is a Christian allegory. It was written by the English writer John Bunyan while in prision (for preaching about Jesus), and published between 1678 and 1684. It is about a character whose name is Christian, his conversion and walk in the christian life, and his journey from the City of Destruction tothe Celestial City. This book has been translated into more than 100 languages.
