    As the jury enters the courtroom after deliberating, Scout notices that none of the jury members look at Tom Robinson, which indicates that they found him guilty. Scout remembers her father telling her, "A jury never looks at a defendant it has convicted ... " (Lee, 214). Scout knows immediately by the jurors' body language that Tom Robinson will be wrongly convicted.
