In the edgar allan poes the raven the speaker says much i marveled this ungainly fowl to hear discourse so plainly what does the speaker mean when he describes the raven as this ungainly fowl

    The definition of ungainly is graceless. He later on wants the raven to leave, so I would say he means that it’s an intrusive and annoying bird.
