The rest of the scene is important because it shows the facts that unfold after the tragedy, in addition to showing who will be the next king of Denmark.

    Explanation:

After Hamlet's death, the rest of the story seems unimportant, but that is not a correct statement, since after Hamlet's death, the characters manage to account for all the data caused by the tragedy that was bloody and took many lives of important men, besides Hamlet. In addition, Hamlet's death raises a very important question in history, which is who will claim the crown and become the king of Denmark.

Because this establishes who will rull denmark.

As Hamlet predicts, he hardly wastes a moment in declaring his intention to take the throne of Denmark for his own. And, as a finaly irnoy, Fortinbras misunderstands the dead prince, and gives him a soldier's funeral. Though we know very little of him, it seems that Fortinbras is a anti-Hamlet.

A man who can only understand others in light of his own simple and straight forward mind.
