    d. all of the above

Activists attend community meetings to do all of the abovementioned things. They need to attend meetings to learn about issues and to keep themselves updated of specific issues that concern them and their advocacy perhaps. The also need to speak out on issues in so other members of the community may know on their stand on the specific community issues. They have to let the other people know on their opinions and how they feel about the issues that are being discussed in the community.
