Children seem to like me, and I don't mind hanging out with them. It's pretty easy to keep them amused. What is the best revision of this statement from the body of a cover letter? No changes are needed. Children seem to like me, and it's pretty easy to work with them. I enjoy working with children and designing activities for them. I have babysat for ten families and everyone says they like me best.

    C. I enjoy working with children and designing activities for them.

When constructing resumes and cover letters, it is important to always be definitive, professional, and as specific as possible. The way the sentence currently is with "Children seem to like me" communicates a sense of uncertainty. "I don’t mind hanging out with them" is a bit too informal and should be communicating what you do like. Lastly, "It’s pretty easy to keep them amused" is a bit vague. In fact, it begs the question of "What is it that you do in order to keep them amused?" As such, the best revision is "C" because it clearly states what is enjoyed-working with children and designing activities.
