Read the following scenario. Imagine you are at a gas station to put some gas in your car, and you see these directions. Turn off car engine. Avoid the use of cell phones or other electronic devices while pumping gas, since they may cause sparks and result in fire danger. Pay with credit card at pump or enter cash into the electronic vendor between pumps 3 and 4. Prepayment is required. After entering payment, remove nozzle and select the grade of gasoline desired. Remain at your vehicle as you pump gas. When finished, return nozzle to pump. Collect change and receipt from electronic vendor. According to these directions, which of the following is true? Change is not available, so you should be sure that you do not enter more cash than you can use. You can pay with cash at the electronic vendor between pumps 3 and 4. You can pay after you pump if you are using cash. It is okay to walk away while pumping gas because there is an automatic shutoff when your tank is full.
