    If you just take a look at "The Railroad Earth," you will see that his entire paragraphs contain only one sentence. Kerouac's sentences are very long, with minimal punctuation marks, but also contain a lot of 'stream of consciousness,' which means that he wrote exactly what he was thinking, no matter what it was, which contributes to the rhythm of his words in this text.
