Do you think the concept of identity has changed since Shakespeare's time? Do last names hold as much weight as they once did?

    No. Back in Shakespeare's time last names were a lot more significant because it was a way of describing who you are to others.

    Now, last names are used as a way of identifying others, not as much as describing.
