    Mutations occur all over our body consistently since all of our cells contain DNA. Some mutations would not be passed on to offspring and they don't matter for Evolution. "Somatic Mutations" are mutations that occur in the cells that do not form gametes and do not end up carried by the sperm or eggs. Such mutations could be in your skin, muscles, liver, ect.
