    Elizabeth Cady Stanton argued that women the same qualities as men, they want to be free in the same way as men do, they pay taxes the say way as men do so and therefore are also fit to vote as men did.

    She also stated that arguments that women are weaker than men are not logical because weak men are also allowed to vote. "All white men in this country have the same rights, however they may differ in mind, body, or estate."
