The Woman's Bath is an eastern literature specifically in the Middle East (Syria). The whole theme is about Respect. In the story, old grandma doesn't really being respected by the family. This idea will closely relate to the main theme. "I had a strong feeling of sympathy for my grandmother old age had caught up with her since her husband had died"
