    Since the author uses the expression "better quality", it is understandable that, even though people in the country enjoy having the benefit or use of consuming a large number of dates and salt fish, men of wealth and relevance happen to eat or ingest food of higher characteristics and distinction. As a result, these important people have the opportunity to consume superior products other than what most people in the country do.
