In the book midsummer nights dream what do other people think of egeus

People see Egeus as man who is short-tempered with a very bad attitude. He demands that his daughter marry Demetrius but she is in love with Lysander. He gets angry and threaten her with three choices: Marry Demetrius, go to the convent and become a nun or die. He gives the impression of a domineering and cruel parent who wants to have his own way. He doesn’t care about how her daughter feels. Because this, he is also perceived as a very stubborn man.
