According to Walden University, you must cite a dictionary entry following the APA format, which includes the reference and the year.

For example: (Oxford Dictionary, [year]) or the word entry and the year: (Inference, (year or n. d.)).

If the word comes from an online dictionary the citation would be:

Inference. (n. d). Macmillian dictionary. Retrieved from: the entire link.
