In "Sweat," Delia's qualities as a woman and Sykes' merits as a man are both treated as

subjects of discussion and debate. How does the story explore gender stereotypes and

expectations? Based on your own observations, as well as movies you have seen and books

you have read, are modern-day relationships between men and women similar to or

different from that of Delia and Sykes? How so?

People always expect one thing from one certain gender, not knowing how hard it is to live in a world where everyone is raised with some type of expectation to live up to, a loop if you will. Another book I've read about things like this, it's supposed to be dystopia, and it's called matched, the whole series is just related to these issues that people expect so much from one to another.
