If I compare my family with a mataphor ... So I can use which type of metaphor?

For Example

I can compare my family with a bird.

So I need more examples like this.

    Your question is a little confusing but I think I know what you mean.

    I can compare my family to a rock.

    I can compare my family with a book.

    I can compare my family with a pencil.

    Metaphors are comparing two things that are not really comparable. Like your family and a rock. It doesn't really make sense to do that, but you can. That's the definition of a metaphor in my own words.
