Turkey was inspired partly by Eastern European tradition and partly by the traditionalist Islamic way of dressing and cuisine.

    Explanation:

Turkey came into its own as a nation after the first world war and stood in the middle of Eurasia equally connected to both Eastern Europe and the Muslim dominant middle east.

Thus, its majority Muslim population identified with the Muslims in the east but they were also wont to modernize due to their exposure to the west.

This led to the amalgamation of the two cultures specially in their clothes and cuisine.

The clothes in particular are close knit like Europeans but cover the whole body for Islamic traditions.
