Giotto di Bondone is the painter who formed his own technique in painting. He traded the Byzantine Techniques into his style which is earthly, natural style. Naturalism as it is called, is a practice of painting things exactly as they are; placing importance on the quality of "realness" in art. Cimabue and Duccio delved in the psychology of the human figures, thus the emergence of the Renaissance of Humanism. Michelangelo on the other hand, was a sculptor, painter and architect of the Italian Renaissance. His work demonstrated a blend of psychological insight, physical realism and intensity.
