The word "noontide" from the third stanza of "I Look Into My Glass" personifies "Time."

The poem "I Look Into My Glass" is about the poet's experiences when he looks into the mirror. He wishes that God would have made his heart and feelings as old as his skin. This signifies that though the poet has turned old his feelings and heart are evergreen and young. He says that his body is in the state of 'eve' but his feelings and heart lies in the state of 'noontide.' the poem has a gloomy mood. Throughout the poem, the time has been personified.
