Reasons why people should NOT get to know a person before forming an opinion

I personally don't hold this opinion but if I had to answer I'd say that maybe if you try your best to understand what kind of person they are before you speak to them or know them it might be easier to hold a conversation. For example, if they're holding a sketch book you can formulate the opinion that they like drawing.
