Explain why atoms at different speeds depending on whether they are in liquids or solids

    They are different speeds because in liquids they have more space and in a solid not that much.

    They move at different speeds because a liquid has alot of room to move around, where as the solid is tightly packed so theres not alot of room for it to move around.
