What does Monna Giovanna do on a false pretense

She goes to visit Federigo to obtain the falcon her son so desires. She aimed to keep the bird, to give it to her son. However, during the visit, Federigo wanted to dazzle her but did not have to offer him food. He sacrifices his falcon, which was his beloved pet and offers dinner to Monna Giovanna, who without knowing eats the falcon that she longed for her son, for her it was terrible to know this and she did nothing else but cry.
