I believe it will be like this:

The mother dog became ill after she had puppies, so we had to prepare bottles of milk. First, we went to the pet shop to get the right type of formula. Second, we went to the veterinarian to get the instructions to heat the formula correctly.

Sorry if it's not right, my English is a little low in writing. ^^; But hey I tried, right?
