In "The Jabberwocky", we realize that the speaker refers to a boy's fight with a very dangerous monster and we can have this reaction on the lines:

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son! / The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! / Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun / The frumious Bandersnatch! "

In "We Real Cool", on the other hand, we have the perception of a group of young people, who want to enjoy life without worries and with a reputation for being detached, cool, stylish. We can see this through the lines:
