With a tape measure, determine how long the wall is and how tall. Next, place masking tape around anything you wish to protect from the paint. Put newspaper or a drop cloth on the floor. When you have completed these tasks, open the paint can. Stir it with a paint stick in order to properly mix the paint. Then, pour the paint into a pan. Next, roll your paint roller in the paint pan until it is evenly coated. Begin to paint the wall, moving the roller in a V pattern to make sure the paint spreads evenly.
