What do victor and Walton have in common in Frankenstein?

    They are both explorers in their own ways.

    They are also guilty of a kind of hubris.

    Victors obsession is more harmful than Waltons though, Victors caused more ruin to people.

    They are both explorers in their own ways. Walton explores frontiers and Victor explores humanity and biology. They are both guilty of a kind of hubris, wanting to bask in the glory of their name. Victor's obsession causes more harm than Walton's does and it ruins more people.
