Which sentence uses a verb that agrees with its pronoun subject?

    The correct answer is A, because it sounds most natural. "Neither" has to agree with a verb used in singular. The remaining examples are just not correct, these are incorrect uses of the verb forms. "Are" has to agree with plural forms, "nobody" with singular, as well as "somebody".
