    In The Declaration of Independence, the text starts with an introductory paragraph to the situation, to then continue by stating " We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." This is what is believed by the authors and what will be supported throughout the text. Therefore, this is an example of claim.
