What change in the United States resulted from the Civil Rights Act of 1964?

Segregation based on race was outlawed in the United States.

African Americans were granted American citizenship.

Voting rights were Constitutionally guaranteed to all adults.

Poll taxes and literacy tests were outlawed in voting.
