D: People expect to have limitless energy whenever they want.

    Explanation:

It is quite easy to ignore the fact that we use lots of energy every single day. Electricity powers devices in our homes, and natural gas or coal keeps us warm on cold days. Every time we ride in a car, we use up gas, which is made from oil.

We turn a key, flip a switch, or press an "on" button to get quick results-and that's the way we

like it. It's not as simple as that, however. Behind the things we use and enjoy in our daily lives is a never-ending search for fuel, or material from which energy comes.

Some of our fuels may be running out. Fossil fuels, such as coal, oil, and natural gas, come from deep inside the Earth where they formed over millions of years ago.

Hence, if people expect to have limitless energy whenever they want, it would only result in energy crisis.
