The role of women during the Victorian Era was mainly to find a place for themselves in the society and attain their rights.

    Explanation:

During the Victorian period and prior to that, women were always considered lower to men and they did not have freedom or authority for their own life. Once they were married they were made to do the household work and follow what the husband says.

They did not have the rights to educate themselves or vote or any other property rights. However, the role of women during the Victorian Era was mainly to find a place for themselves in the society and attain their rights.

"A Vindication of the Rights of Women" was one of the greatest literature by Mary Wollstonecraft, who through her text contributes to the feminism protest and the right to vote and equal rights for authority of property and education and equal wages.
