Hi, a parallel construction means that within a sentence, the same form of the verb is used. So, in this case, the correct answer would be - 2. The first one cannot be correct because we have would + infinitive of the verb "organize", and then a different word form, "getting", which is a participle. The third example follows the same thing - wanted + infinitive of "to go" + "buy", and then all of a sudden, we have a past simple form, which is different. The fourth example has "came" which is past, and then "is" which is present. In the final example we have "shopping", "trekking", and then "ride", which is obviously a different form. Only the second example is consistent - "visited" and "climbed" have the same form.
