    To summarize nonfiction, include the most important details.

    If a reporter was at a conference on cheese in France wearing a blue suit jacket and black pants the most important detail isn't the clothing, but where they where was and what they were doing. So I would summarize it like this, According to this source, the reporter was in France attending a cheese conference.
