An English friend of yours says that last night's rain over northern Great Britian was caused by a storm that originally formed east of the Colorado Rockies. Could this be a true statement?

    Explanation:storms can travel several hundreds miles from the source of origin and it could gain strength along the way but the power of the storm and its speed can last longer and can also travel for long miles before it can lose its strength.
