    Among all the animals and plants, Europeans brought to Native Americans many terrible diseases. Native Americans were strong but they didn't have an immune system resistant to European diseases.

    Native people had no resistance to such diseases as measles, smallpox, mumps, whooping cough, influenza, chickenpox, and typhus. The main disease that had a great impact was smallpox. This disease decreased habitats in a meaningful way.
